The Master of Oral Health Sciences - Oral Biology program at The University of Jordan (UJ) aims to prepare postgraduate students with advanced knowledge in oral biology and related disciplines, enabling them to investigate fundamental biological mechanisms, address current gaps in oral health research, and contribute to the advancement of oral health knowledge and practice at local, regional, and global levels through rigorous scientific inquiry and evidence-based approaches.

Program Aims:

• Graduate Excellence: Produce distinguished academics and researchers in oral biology who are capable of advancing the standards of dental research and education through their work in both public and private sectors.
• Advance Scientific Research: Elevate the level of scientific research in dentistry through a structured two‑year laboratory training program (aligned with the requirements of the University of Jordan for awarding the Master's degree), culminating in a master's thesis based on original research.
• Academic Contribution: Enable graduates to actively participate in teaching and contribute to the development of academic pathways in local and international universities.
• Improve the Job Market: Strengthen the local labor market by addressing the stagnation in the general dentistry profession, as identified by the Civil Service Bureau and public opinion surveys. Increasing the number of academics and researchers in specialized fields creates new employment opportunities for dentists locally and regionally.
