Overview

The Ocean College is a professional and research-oriented college, under the development philosophy “High starting point, Strong integration, Sustainable and Internationalized growth”. Courses within the college cover three main departments: marine science, ocean engineering, marine information (preparatory).

 There are 9 research institutes including marine geology and resources, marine chemistry and environment, marine biology and pharmacology, physical oceanography and remote sensing, ocean engineering and technology, port waterway and offshore engineering, marine structures and naval architecture engineering, marine sensor technology and network, marine electronics and intelligent systems.
