- A Bachelor's degree in the relevant field or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the UPM Senate; or a
- Bachelor's degree with a CGPA of 2.50–2.74 may be accepted subject to faculty evaluation and relevant work experience; or
- a Bachelor's degree with a CGPA below 2.50 may be considered with substantial relevant work experience and faculty assessment.
- International applicants must also satisfy UPM's English language proficiency requirements.
