- 16 years of education (Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent)
- B.Arch degree from an HEC-recognized institution
- Studio-based undergraduate training is mandatory
- Preference given to candidates with a 5-year B.Arch degree
- Minimum CGPA 2.0/4.0 or 55% marks (general NUST MS rule, unless otherwise specified)
- Entry test or selection process as per NUST graduate admissions policy (GAT/GNET/HAT or equivalent where applicable)
- Portfolio and design aptitude may be required depending on admission cycle
