Overview

General requirements
- 16 years of education (4-year BS or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science, Defence & Strategic Studies, Peace & Conflict Studies, History, Pakistan Studies, Development Studies, Public Policy or related social sciences fields
- Graduates from related disciplines like Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Law, and even Engineering/Management may be eligible if relevant coursework is accepted
- Minimum CGPA: 2.0/4.0 or 55% marks (HEC-recognized degree required)
- Entry test required: GAT (General) by NTS or NUST GNET or HEC HAT or GRE (minimum score around 50+)
- Selection based on merit (combination of academic record + entry test score)
- In most cases, no interview is required, but it may be conducted if needed
