Overview
The master in Work and Organizational Psychology at University of Minho aims at providing the students with solid theoretical knowledge and developing assessment and intervention skills in the various domains that integrate this field. It also intends to acquaint students with the practice and the results of research in order to promote a critical and reflective attitude regarding their activity in different professional contexts, as well as to promote evidence-based professional practice. The valorization of a multidisciplinary and integrated perspective, in the understanding of the human behavior within the organizational context, and the development of an ethically responsible attitude of the future professionals, are also objectives of this study cycle.
Careers
The post graduations students in Work and Organizational Psychology Master course will be able to develop their professional activity in public and private organizations (local public/governmental administration_ City Council_ and central public/governmental administration_ Public Institutes, in different activity sectors (Industry, Services and Consulting) and in different specialties (psychological intervention and evaluation of individual, group and organizational levels). They can also obtain professional certification as a Work, Social and Organizational Psychologist, after a professional internship, given by the Portuguese Order of Psychologists.Programme Structure

General requirements
According to Decree-Law 65/2018, from 16th august, and the Portuguese Psychologists Order regalements (Law 138/2015, 7 September), candidates to this master must comply with one of the following mandatory requirements:a) Hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Psychological Science (s) or legal equivalent;b) Hold a foreign high education academic degree after completing a 1st cycle of studies in Psychology or Psychological Science(s).This 1st cycle of studies should comply the Bologna Process and be delivered by a signature member or legal equivalent;c) Hold a foreign high education academic degree recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Psychological Science(s) or legal equivalent;d) Hold a school, scientific or professional curriculum that shows the candidate ability to enroll in the master academic activities. The curriculum merit needs to be recognized by the Scientific Council of the School of Psychology at the University of Minho.
