Our team of experienced academics and practitioners focus on competent management and effective leadership, giving students from both clinical and managerial backgrounds the tools required to deliver service improvement and sustainable change in health and social care settings.The programme is suitable if you:
- are working in a clinical or non-clinical role
- are already working as a health and social care professional, clinical scientist, nurse or doctor, and wish to pursue managerial opportunities
- are working within the health and social care or voluntary sector in a role such as commissioning, quality improvement, clinical auditing or risk management and are looking to take the next step in your career
- have completed an undergraduate programme in a relevant discipline and have some experience in health and social care

General requirements
- Consideration of applications will be based on a combination of formal academic qualifications and other relevant experience:
- You will hold a first degree at 2:2 or above, or acceptable professional qualification
- You need to have significant and relevant experience, which would typically be at least two years of experience in the health and social care sector
- Application is based on submission of an online application form, CV and interview, if required, to discuss the content and expectations of the programme.
- Applications are also welcome from students with non-standard qualifications but with significant relevant experience. However, applications with non-standard qualifications would be considered individually and additional selection activities would apply.
- Additional entry requirements - Recognised English qualification, for example, GCSE English grade A-C.
