This Clinical Dentistry programme from Griffith University offers a comprehensive blend of clinical training, academic coursework and research, aiming to cultivate highly skilled specialists capable of delivering advanced patient care.

Career

All students will be required to participate in one undergraduate teaching session per week. Undergraduate teaching is an important component of postgraduate coursework degrees as it facilitates the ability of postgraduate students to deepen and widen their understanding of a dental specialty by being placed in a position where they have to transfer knowledge in a clear and concise manner to more junior colleagues. However, in sensitivity to the relative large workloads that postgraduate students have, their involvement in such teaching will be limited.

Students will be encouraged to attend continuing education courses of relevance to their area of study both locally and nationally. Once sufficiently senior, they may contribute to Griffith CPD provision for general practitioners. Occasional attendance at international congresses will be encouraged at the student's own expense or subsidised on occasion by industry or grants.
