The Cyber Security (Non-Thesis) programme at Istinye University emphasizes both technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity, preparing graduates to handle complex security challenges in various industries.

Programme Purpose

While rapid developments in information and communication technologies facilitate access to information and make our daily lives more comfortable, they also bring security vulnerabilities.

Especially, these technologies, which have become strategic tools for critical infrastructure sectors such as finance, telecommunications, energy, water management and transportation, must serve in secure cyber environments against all kinds of external threats and attacks.

The curriculum includes courses such as:

Cyber Threats and Vulnerabilities

Network Security

Cybersecurity Law and Ethics

Cloud Security

and Incident Response.

Students will also engage in practical labs to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Graduate applications are accepted with an undergraduate diploma and transcript.

A minimum of 60% success in the undergraduate/graduate diploma is required for the acceptance.

Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) scores are not required from candidates within the scope of international students.

For master's and doctoral programmes with a thesis, it is compulsory to submit one of the English exam types and scores listed below, regardless of the language of instruction of the programme.
