SPECIALIZATIONS

Applied Bioinformatics

Recommended for students seeking in-depth knowledge in computational biology, primarily in molecular data analysis, data mining, and structural bioinformatics. Emphasis is placed on data handling, analysis, and interpretation. Optional courses include systems biology and Java programming.

Molecular Biotechnology

Recommended for those interested in the experimental aspects of medical biotechnology who enjoy working with molecules, cells, tissues, and animals in experimental labs. This specialization offers courses in stem cell and tumor biology, laboratory diagnostics, drug delivery systems, etc., covering biological backgrounds and applicable techniques.

Audience

The programme is intended for graduates in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, medicine, or related life science fields who are interested in the application of modern biotechnology in medicine. DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) in one of the following fields: Biochemical Engineering, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Medicine, Molecular Bionics, Image Analysis, or similar.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must possess an English language certificate corresponding to B2 level of CEFR. (We do not accept Duolingo test results or placement tests taken at your previous university.)

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

- Online written test (Subjects: Biology AND Chemistry)

- Online oral interview (for shortlisted applicants)
