Overview

The Production Design programme offered by Middlesex University has a range of studio spaces including a double-height studio for set builds for film production, Our Motion Capture studio utilises a range of sophisticated technology to enable the creation of industry-level VFX and VP, blending physical and virtual set design. The 3D workshops support physical set construction, prop design, model-making, 3D printing and our digital media workshops support the world building, concept art, digital drafting, design and previsualising sets for screen production using SketchUp, VectorWorks, AutoCAD and Unreal Engine.

Career Paths

Graduates progress into roles in film, TV, streaming and immersive media such as:

art department assistant;
prop master;
