Goals

Linguistics at Brawijaya University has the following goals:

• 1) To produce graduates with the following qualifications:

a. Upholding professional ethics.

b. Possessing in-depth knowledge in both pure and applied linguistics, and able to apply such knowledge to conduct and produce high-quality research in these fields.

c. Able to present and publish research findings in international seminars and in accredited national journals or reputable international journals.

d. Able to apply knowledge and research findings in society and contribute ideas for national development.

e. Possessing the knowledge and capability to pursue further studies at a higher level 

• 2) To produce high-quality scientific works at both national and international levels, carried out by lecturers and students.
• 3) To conduct community service activities that address scientific and societal issues, implemented by lecturers and students.
• 4) To build sustainable partnerships with stakeholders, including alumni and users of graduates, at both national and international levels.
