Overview

The Biological Sciences programme offered by University of Wolverhampton provides an opportunity for students to gain an in-depth understanding of the molecular basis of disease and develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.

Regardless of the route you choose you will be given the opportunity to learn via problem-based learning in Principles of Integrated Biomedical Science and will undertake a research project in our state-of-the-art laboratories or within the workplace.

To students progressing from an undergraduate programme and/or a taught postgraduate programme to a postgraduate research programme, where both courses are University of Wolverhampton Awards.

There is no time limit on how long ago you completed your degree and/or Masters level qualification, as long as the new award is at a higher level.

A recognised undergraduate degree in Biology or closely related subject from an accredited college, institution or university, equivalent to or higher than a UK Bachelor honours degree qualification.
Please include in your personal statement an explanation of your research interests and how they align with your career aspirations; you may be required to attend an interview to discuss this further.
If English isn’t the applicant’s first language, they will need to provide evidence of English language ability.
