Overview
The Theriogenology program at King Faisal University is taught at the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Objectives of the Faculty
- Principles understanding the basic sciences to study veterinary medicine and various areas relating thereto, and mastering the skills and methods used in the examination and treatment of animal diseases, according to regional priorities and the need for development programs in the Kingdom.
- Developing research, analysis and inference.
- Participating in economic development in the Kingdom through the protection of livestock from any causes of illness and contributing to the preparation of special studies for improving the breeds progenys and increase production.
- Contributing to food security programs through the provision of a healthy food of animal origin for the human.
- Contributing to the protection of the human from General diseases transmitted between animals and human.

General requirements
Applicants should:
- Comply with the unified regulations of postgraduate studies in Saudi Universities.
- Have a bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine from King Faisal University or any other university recognized by King Faisal University, provided that the grade is not less than "very good" if grades were applied
- Pass a personal interview.
- Applicants who received their bachelor's degree in an undergraduate program with instruction language other than English should score at least 5.0 in IELTS or any other equivalent English test recognized by the Ministry of Education.
