Overview
The Artificial Intelligence course offered by Reykjavik University aims to relate the studies directly to every student’s interests while providing a broad and deep foundation for the field as a whole, with a horizon of at least 20 years in the future. The topics taught include artificial neural networks, empirical reasoning systems, control systems, robotics and various other artificial intelligence methods. By delving into and explaining the basic foundations of phenomena such as knowledge, machine learning, understanding, language, planning, reasoning, and much more, as well as strengthening students’ independence and critical thinking, the program prepares students for the diversity and many opportunities that the field of artificial intelligence offers.
