General requirements

Hold a bachelor’s degree in political science (as a major) from one of the faculties of Egyptian universities or its equivalent as approved by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, with a minimum general grade of Good (C+) or a GPA of 2.3.
Hold bachelor’s degree in political science (as a minor) might be accepted. At the minimum, they must have a degree of Good (not less than 70%, which is the equivalent of a B- or a GPA of 2.7), in addition to the student’s commitment to study at least four core modules (the equivalent of 12 credit hours) from the bachelor’s level.
(Graduates of BUE and other overseas universities operating in countries where the native language is English are exempted from the placement test).
Non-Egyptian students must provide evidence that they have been granted permission to stay in Egypt for a minimum of two years.
