Overview
The Clinical Psychology programme from British University in Egypt is offered as a full-time, four-semester programme.
Key facts
In each of the first two semesters, students study four modules with a combined weight of 12 credits (3 credits each) delivered over two 15-week semesters; where week 13 is a revision week, and weeks 14-15 are final assessment weeks at the end of each semester. A typical 3-credit module requires approximately 100 hours of student effort, which usually includes around 24 hours of contact time. The remaining time is required for coursework and tutorial completion, self-directed study and assessment. The last two semesters are dedicated to working on the thesis (6 credits each). The total number of credit hours for the whole programme is 36. To consider the circumstances of the postgraduate students, modules can be taught late afternoon and on the weekends.
