Overview
Throughout the Psychology course from Coventry University you will explore the mechanisms that shape thought, emotion and behaviour while examining the classic psychological theories that established the discipline, particularly in the areas of biological and cognitive psychology.
You will understand social and individual differences and explore key facets of human behaviour (such as personality and relationships) for both the individual and at the group level.You will learn key skills in ethical research, data management, along with dissecting research articles and fine-tuning your critical evaluation.You will examine human development from conception to end of life, with a focus on diversity.
With a strong focus on independent research, you will develop your research skills in ethics and methodology, preparing you to pursue your own research interests . Area of your independent research will include mastering research design, data collection, analysis and reporting to create a project that aligns with your research interests.
Career opportunities:
Some of our alumni have enjoyed great success after completing this Psychology MSc course with Coventry University.
