Students will move effortlessly from one functional area to another and work smoothly with colleagues in all areas. It will enable students to develop a broad-based range of concepts and business skills (including soft skills) needed to effectively manage the functional areas of a company.
Key facts
The Management program from German University in Cairo fosters an understanding for the interdependencies of decisions made in the company and how value can be created by these decisions. Students graduate with two majors out of Accounting & Financial Control, Economics, Finance, Human Resources and Organizational Behavior, Information Systems, Innovation & Technology Management, International Business, Marketing, Production & Operations, and Strategic Management.
On the postgraduate level the Faculty offers an international Master of Science in Management. The International Master program is at the present time only open to graduates of the GUC. Besides the already transferred credit hours of the second major from the eighth semester, Master students need an additional one year that provides them with advanced knowledge within special fields of Management or Economics. The program includes courses from a third major of the students choice plus advanced courses oriented to research in the student’s field of the master thesis. The thesis may be written in any of the student’s three majors. Based on a Master degree with excellent grades student may continue to pursue a PhD in Management or Economics.
