General requirements
- Applicants will typically hold a first degree or equivalent (including international qualifications) in a relevant professional healthcare field, such as a medical or nursing degree. Registered healthcare professionals without these recognised qualifications will be considered on an individual basis and a wide range of prior experience may be taken into account.
- Only students who have successfully passed the 3 modules of the PgCert (or equivalent RPL) will be able to sit the Clinical Practice Module.
- All students must have adequate indemnification for aesthetic procedures from an insurer. All students must be registered with a healthcare licensing body , which body considers aesthetic injectable treatments within that profession’s clinical competence.
- All students must have prescriber status or must be accompanied by a prescriber in the OSCE.
