- You will engage with some of the most pressing issues in today’s world, from forced migration, environmental humanities to globalisation, and gain an advanced understanding of global cultural processes.
- You are able to tailor your master’s to your interests, with a choice of modules from the School of Advanced Study including the University of London Institute in Paris, as well as UCL, Queen Mary, and Royal Holloway.
- You can choose to develop an exhibition, a piece of creative writing or a translation with written commentary, or a research project outline in the place of a traditional dissertation – giving you the chance to develop even more skills and present your work in a creative way.

- The normal minimum entrance requirement for our master’s programme would be a first or upper second-class honours degree from a recognised university in the UK, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in any discipline that is related to the course.
- Applications may be considered from candidates who do not meet the formal academic requirements but who offer alternative qualifications and/or relevant experience.
- English is the language of instruction and applicants are required to demonstrate an appropriate level of proficiency.
