Overview
In the course of the ongoing development of the academic programmes offered by the College of Law, the Master's programme in Private Law was initially introduced in 2008, ultimately receiving final accreditation in May 2016. Recently, the programme's accreditation was renewed in December 2021.
The Private Law programme from Ajman University aims to provide an appropriate academic environment to foster creativity in various legal disciplines. This is achieved through the adoption of distinguished academic programmes designed to produce qualified individuals trained in legal and Sharia practices, with an understanding of the latest developments in legal sciences. The college also focuses on teaching students how to acquire knowledge, learn independently, and make use of modern technologies, all while aligning its programmes with Ajman University's three-fold mission: educational, informational, and investment-oriented.

General requirements
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or its equivalent from a university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum GPA of "very good" (at least 3 out of 4).
- Submitting two recommendation letters from professors who have previously taught the applicant during the undergraduate stage.
- Passing the TOEFL test with a minimum score of 450 (ITP) or 45 (iBT), or the Academic IELTS with a minimum score of 4.5, or an equivalent score in another approved standardized test such as IESOL with a B1 level, provided that the test certificate is valid at the time of submission.
