General requirements
- A recognised NQF level 8 Postgraduate Diploma, Honours, Professional degree in the business, management or related fields or equivalent with at least 60% average mark. In addition, the student must have accumulated 24 credits in Research Methodology at NQF level 8 with a minimum score of at least 60%.
- Highly experienced people not meeting these minimum academic requirements will be required to undergo a rigorous recognition of prior learning (RPL) to establish their potential to participate in the programme.
- Admission to a master’s degree by research is highly competitive and subject to a rigorous review process. In conjunction with CUT, the candidate is required to present a suitable research project in the field of specialisation.
- Admission is also subject to the availability of supervisory capacity.
