General requirements
Applicants must possess
- At least a ‘credit’ grade for the B.Min.Sc (Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy and Mineral Processing) or equivalent qualification;
- A ‘pass’ grade for the B.Min.Sc (Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy and Mineral Processing) or equivalent qualification plus at least 3 years’ relevant industrial experience. A student in this category will be required to pass an interview as part of the admission process.
- A Diploma in mining or related field with a minimum “B” aggregate grade plus at least 10 years relevant industrial experience. A student in this category will be required to pass an interview as part of the admission process.
