Overview

This master in Advanced Mathematics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona's main aims are:

To introduce students to the world of research in preparation for PhD studies.
To offer professional specialization, preparing students for skilled positions in government, industry, banking, finance, insurance, consultancy, information and communication technologies, and other related areas.

Students will select from 18 optional subjects that cover most areas of mathematics. Some of the most distinguished mathematicians from the Barcelona area will be lecturers for this Master’s degree. Several grants covering the tuition fees will be offered.
