Innovation based on materials allows us to develop new initiatives, find more sustainable solutions and launch more creative design processes.

This master’s degree will allow you to create new opportunities through the design of sustainable materials and define how to build a future for the well-being of the planet.

Key Features

The goal of the Design through New Materials program at ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering is to create a new generation of transdisciplinary specialists in materials design, such as materials for sustainable interior design and materials for sustainable textiles, products and furniture.

Official university degree or equivalent in design, engineering, architecture or art.
Accessing with a previous University Degree: To access the Masters and Postgraduate programmes, applicants are required to have an official undergraduate degree or equivalent.
Accessing without a University Degree: Applicants without a University Degree title are eligible to access the programmes through proven professional experience or by proving significant knowledge in the relevant studies area. These applicants will receive a University Specialist Certificate.
