Overview
The Laws (Research) program at University of Zambia's aim is to provide relevant innovative and demand-driven higher legal education for sustainable socio-economic development.
The School enjoys a symbiotic relationship with the University. On the one hand, the School is hosted by and derives much of its recognition from the University and on the other hand, the School’s reputation brings a certain amount of prestige to the University. This relationship is enjoyed through the provision of financial and advisory services provided by the School to various institutions within the University.

General requirements
The applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia or any other recognized University with a minimum of an upper credit or its equivalent;
- A minimum of two years’ post qualifying professional experience. (an advantage)
Prospective candidates for this programme apply through the Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies of the University of Zambia (DRGS).
