Overview
The Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University of Zambia which is in place provides specialist training to enable the graduates to offer comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynaecology and other aspects of reproductive health.
Reproductive health in this context includes promotion of health, prevention and management of disease through the life cycle of women and also how to deal with the complex issue of preventing maternal and newborn mortality and morbidity.

The applicant must possess
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Zambia or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
- The candidate must have full registration with the Health Professionals Council of Zambia (HCPZ) and possess a certificate of good standing.
- Applicants seeking government sponsorship will be required to have completed their mandatory rural posting
