- Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in a relevant subject, plus at least two years of work experience as a senior officer (2nd officer and above)
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a related subject area
- Demonstratable relevant work experience, evidenced via Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) alongside professional qualifications (e.g., Chief Mate/Officer/Engineer Certificate of Competency. Lower professional qualifications may also be considered alongside your relevant professional experience)
