General requirements
Applicants should have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subjects of Care, including nursing, social work, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, dietetics, paramedic practice or radiography, Home UK Applicants who do not meet this academic requirement are advised to undertake the Professional Profile Development module in order to apply for recognition of prior (experiential) learning.
- All students will normally have been working, in paid or unpaid employment, within health and/or community care for at least one year, as students need to be able to reflect on their experience and relate theory with practice.
Your supporting statement forms must include the following:
- Evidence of recent professional development/study
- Experience of working with different patient/client groups
- Demonstrate your understanding of current policies affecting the sector and potential implications for service delivery
