General requirements

Candidates applying for Master of Arts (Malay Language and Linguistics) by research must acquire a bachelor’s degree second class upper. If the candidate obtained a second class lower can be considered to follow the Master by research with a conditions: (i) Experience writing Latihan Ilmiah. (ii) Produce/publish /write literary articles in internal and external magazines.
Applicants are required to write and submit the proposal of a topic from scopes of subject of Malay Literature or Culture or Language given.
Language Requirements: Malay Language.
Candidate must send a research proposal of approximately 3,000 – 4,000 words (excluding initial bibliography) by inserting the following:Areas of study
