Start your international academic journey with our postgraduate Level 5 TEFL program accredited by TQUK. This program has been meticulously designed for those aspiring to excel in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) while immersing themselves in Spanish culture.

Our innovative hybrid 180 hour TEFL course blends online and on-site instruction in Madrid. You’ll begin the program completing assignments through our online classroom before a final 2 week intensive practicum at our school in Madrid. This initial phase equips you with the foundational skills necessary to teach English effectively to non-native speakers.

You will have the opportunity to complete four weeks of intensive Spanish language and cultural classes at LAE Madrid, our esteemed Spanish language school accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. This experience is designed to deepen your understanding of Spanish language and culture, enriching your ability to engage with the community and enhancing your teaching competencies.

Throughout the remainder of the year, you will continue to refine your Spanish proficiency through part time evening classes. This structured approach ensures you can substantially improve your Spanish while gaining invaluable experience teaching English in Madrid.

The program culminates with our Advanced TEFL diploma through Universidad Europea del Atlántico, which is delivered online to provide the flexibility to balance your teaching placements.
