Our Masters course is taught by distance learning or on our Chelmsford campus. ARU’s postgraduate courses fit into your life; you can study this course full-time or part-time in an environment which addresses all learning styles.

Key Features

As an MSc Mental Health student at Anglia Ruskin University you’ll begin each course module with a workshop, where you’ll build relationships with fellow students and staff. The rest of your studying will be distance learning.Through this course you’ll begin to understand specialised aspects of the ‘craft of caring’ for people with a serious mental illness. You’ll have the opportunity to explore professional care specialisms such as child and adolescent mental health care needs, dementia care, and depression.You’ll engage with innovation, research and leadership in mental health care but please note this course doesn’t lead to professional qualification as a mental health nurse. General requirements

A First Degree, with Honours, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2:2) or equivalent. Holders of other awards, including those from non-UK universities will be considered on the equivalence of their qualifications.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
