Overview
Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance is offered by Western University - Canada. The program also includes a major research project (MRP) that runs across the year under the supervision of a faculty member.
Key Facts
Another requirement of the program will be a placement at a facility at Western University and the London Health Science Centre (LHSC) for full term (practicum). The program is hosted by the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, the University of Western Ontario. Both health related education and health related experience are important eligibility criteria. We are interested in candidates with the following profiles:
- Individual who has earned at least a four-year undergraduate degree in a health-related field (from an accredited Canadian university or equivalent).
- Registered or licensed health practitioner who has earned at least a four-year undergraduate health degree (from an accredited Canadian university or equivalent) and at least two years of healthcare related work experience (i.g., medical residents post PGY2).
- Professionals from public health sector who has earned at least a four-year undergraduate degree (from an accredited Canadian university or equivalent) and at least two years of work experience in public health or public health policy.
