The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery course from Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU) makes the students well versed with the basic knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.

Programme Outcomes

After completion of the course, the student must be well versed with the knowledge of the Development and growth of the face, teeth, and jaws. He must also possess the knowledge of Age-related changes and evaluation of these structures in detail.

The student must possess the knowledge and concepts of applied physiology including hemostasis, wound management, and infection.

The students would be well trained in the assessment and management of:

Basic and complicated Exodontia

Surgical management of Impacted teeth / unerupted teeth

Facial aesthetic surgery
