Overview
Buildings and Environment at the Czech Technical University (CTU) focuses on the optimisation of structural, energy and ecological system solutions for characteristic building types in the residential, civic, industrial and agricultural building industry sectors from the perspective of standard, low-energy and intelligent buildings.
Highlights
The study programme focuses on complex solutions to technical building systems such as heat and cold supply, ventilation, air conditioning, water management, lighting, acoustics and others. Emphasis is placed on understanding the links to the indoor environment theory, building physics, energy performance and the environment perceived throughout the entire life cycle of the building. By selecting optional courses and project topics, the program allows individual profiling according to students’ interest.
