Overview

As a future engineer, you will design intelligent software and reliable hardware in order to integrate artificial intelligence into chips, vehicles, factories, and many other innovative products.

The Embedded Systems Engineering program at FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences takes an overwhelmingly practice-oriented approach. Students work in small groups in excellently equipped laboratories, ensuring they receive individual supervision and plenty of hands-on experience. Moreover, study and in-person attendance is scheduled between Wednesday and Friday, giving students the opportunity to gain additional experience by working part-time for a company in the industry.

After graduation

After their Master’s degree the graduates have the choice of entering the world of work or studying for a doctoral degree. The Institute of Electronic Engineering offers a range of exciting topics, which can be elaborated in a doctoral programme in cooperation with international universities.

a relevant Bachelor’s degree or Diploma degree
applicants who have completed a relevant equivalent degree programme at other universities or in other countries are also welcomed

If your degree is basically equivalent but you lack individual qualifications, admission to the course will be conditional on passing supplementary examinations to be taken in the course of the first year.
The course is taught in English. If you are proficient in English at level B2 you should have no problem following the classes.
