The  Management Stream programme from South East Technological University  is an innovative, problem focused and practice-oriented programme.

The MBS (Management Stream) stands apart for its pace, rigour and depth. The programme moves beyond passive knowledge acquisition. Instead emphasis is placed on developing skills such as critical thinking, analysis, debate, dealing with high levels of ambiguity, decision making and the ability to generate interdependent decisions in a complex environment.

Career Opportunities:

The Master of Business (Management Stream) graduate career prospects are excellent with in excess of 95% of our graduates gaining employment within six months of completion of the programme. Many of our graduates have progressed to middle and senior management positions in a wide variety of industries. 

The management skills provided equips students to progress in a broad range of business, public sector, voluntary and research workplaces. Graduates from the programme are employed in roles such as operations management, team leadership, continuous improvement, supply chain management and logistics in companies such as Eirgen Pharma, NearForm, HSBC Global Banking, Nypro Healthcare, Sanofi, Taxback International, TELUS International, Wells Fargo, Facebook, Lake Region Medical, TSSG and Glanbia.

In addition to the academic content, the course also includes elements designed to give practical employment experience and develop professional skills. As part of the programme, students have access to SETU Waterford’s Careers Management Centre and they work closely with careers advisers to support them with career development from initial self-assessment through the job search and beyond.
