Overview
The Master's degree of Sustainability Reporting and Financial Analysis offered by Hanken School of Economics will offer its students knowledge and education in sustainable finance, financial and ESG analysis, and sustainability reporting competencies and skills required to meet the needs of the job market. This programme is also the first one year master's programme by an university or business school in Finland.
The Sustainability Reporting and Financial Analysis programme's unique integration of sustainability, along with its international scope, equips you to make a real impact in shaping sustainable business practices.
Key Facts
The students will be taught both science-based decision making and understanding theories as well as how to use their knowledge in real-life cases and current challenges. This way the students get the best of both world - both the academic, more theory-heavy knowledge and practical knowledge from real-world cases.
The programme will be taught full time in English, full-time and on-site in both Umeå and Vaasa. This means that the students graduating from the double degree programme will receive degrees from both universities. In the center of this programme is the idea of the students participating in so called experimental learning projects, where theory meets practice and the students will be addressing real-world financial and non-financial reporting challenges.
The Double Degree programme includes one semester at Umeå University in Umeå, Sweden and one semester at Hanken in Vaasa, Finland.
Accreditation
Hanken holds the three most prestigious accreditations for business schools, EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. Hanken is located in Helsinki and Vaasa, Finland.
Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics (USBE) is known for its high quality of education, research, interaction with external stakeholders and its strong focus on internationalization.
