Key Facts
In semester one, AGH University’s Department of Civil Engineering and Resource Management provides students with the necessary fundamental skills in topics areas such as geology and innovative mining.
In semester two, AGH University’s Faculty of Non-ferrous Metals expands on the knowledge gained during semester one and provides students with a more advanced understanding of minerals processing and metallurgy.During Semester three at TUBAF, students have the opportunity to gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of materials producing, recycling and circularity.
Semester four at AGH University is a graduate semester, focused on preparing a master’s thesis in close collaboration with an industrial partner or research center, which will also host students for an internship. During each semester the above mentioned topics will be supported by courses on economic, social and environmental issues.
This logical combination of the Raw Materials Value Chain program at AGH University of Science & Technology gives the awareness of sustainability and effectivity management to stakeholders in raw materials sector.

General requirements
The candidate additionally needs to:
- complete first-cycle (Bachelor) studies in Mining Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,
- if the condition specified in point 1 is not met - obtain a positive decision from the Dean determining the affinity of the completed first-cycle (Bachelor) field of study with at least one of the fields of study listed in point 1,
- submit Curriculum vitae together with a cover letter and an application for admission to joint studies.
