Overview

The Energy Engineering program at Izmir Institute of Technology is a multi-disciplinary program dedicated to enhancing energy literacy and deepening multi-disciplinary energy knowledge, particularly among the leaders of tomorrow’s science and technology communities. The Department fosters collaboration among industry, government, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the public to address the technological, economic and social aspects of sustainable energy development and use.

Program Education Objectives

To be preferred in graduate programs in different branches of science
To be able to work effectively in national and international R&D units
To be able to take on management positions in the sector they work in
To train engineers who can establish their own companies in the energy sector.
