Overview
The Energy Engineering program at Izmir Institute of Technology is a multi-disciplinary program dedicated to enhancing energy literacy and deepening multi-disciplinary energy knowledge, particularly among the leaders of tomorrow’s science and technology communities. The Department fosters collaboration among industry, government, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the public to address the technological, economic and social aspects of sustainable energy development and use.
Program Education Objectives
- To be preferred in graduate programs in different branches of science
- To be able to work effectively in national and international R&D units
- To be able to take on management positions in the sector they work in
- To train engineers who can establish their own companies in the energy sector.
