Overview

The aim of the Biotechnology Master’s program at Izmir Institute of Technology is to integrate basic sciences and engineering principles with molecular and cell biology knowledge to create a foundation based on the interdisciplinary knowledge needed in biotechnology and bioengineering applications.

Mission

In the broadest sense, the mission of the program is to provide students with extensive scientific and technological equipment to create the human potential to solve scientific and industrial problems in matters such as health, medicine, agriculture and environment. Thanks to this mission of the program, our graduate students can pursue academic or sectoral careers.
