The Software Engineering course from Al Akhawayn University is designed to provide graduate students with both the theoretical background and the

practical knowledge and skills for designing and developing scalable enterprise-grade mobile and cloud applications, using software engineering principles, modern design patterns, and new paradigms of micro-services cloud and edge computing.

Degree Requirements

In order to obtain a Master of Science in Software Engineering degree, students must complete relevant prerequisite courses and a total of 36 SCH in curriculum requirements such as concentrations (12 SCH) and approved electives (12-15SCH).

There are three basic requirements for acceptance to a graduate program:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent

Strong academic average in course work leading to the "Licence"; or, if graduating from a system using the US higher education model, a'B' average or better in the upper level (junior and senior level) work and in any graduate work already completed; or, other evidence of ability to succeed in graduate study

Adequate preparation for the proposed graduate program; and, acceptance by the appropriate Admissions

Committee Selected candidates may be invited for an interview with the admissions committee.
