Overview

The Clinical Oral Surgery course from The College of Medicine and Dentistry will equip you with the skills and knowledge to perform advanced oral surgery procedures competently.The course aims to develop your knowledge and competencies in the diagnosis and management of oral and facial pathologies, simple and advanced surgical exodontia, soft tissue surgery, excision of lesions, oral implantology, bone grafting and endodontic surgery.

Taught by renowned academics and experts in the field, you will learn how to use advanced technologies through a range of innovative methods. You will be exposed to an intensive mix of lectures, seminars and practical workshops using piezo-electric techniques, as well as other contemporary ways of managing oral surgery cases.

An innovative programme covering advanced oral surgery procedures, including those related to oral implantology like bone grafting and sinus elevation.

Strong multi-disciplinary education with other specialties including diagnostic oral sciences, implant dentistry and surgical endodontics.

Students will be engaged in clinical management of patients in our hospital and will treat patients in the clinics of our international partners.

Cadaveric workshops with advanced surgical procedures including trauma procedures, bone augmentation and sinus elevation.

A clinically oriented modular programme consisting of 540 credits.
