Overview

The Clinical Psychology programme from  Manipal Academy of Higher Education  allows the student to observe clients with various mental health concerns that come to the Clinical Psychology OPD of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. This ensures simultaneous transfer of theoretical knowledge to real life clinical scenario throughout the two years.

• Demonstrate a broad and coherent knowledge of core topics and skills in the discipline of clinical psychology, their applications in research and professional contexts.
• Training in theoretical and practical aspects of various psychological test and supervised training  in the area of interviewing and psychological assessments
• Provision of clinical exposure in dealing with various mental health related conditions
• Exposure in specialized clinics such as school mental health programs, rehabilitation and community health care centers
• Opportunity to assist with trained professionals to conduct skills training workshop for child and adolescent population
