Professional Objectives:

By the end of the Radiotherapy Technology program from Manipal Academy of Higher Education students should be able to:

Treat patients on Linear accelerators, Cobalt 60, X-ray and other radiation therapy equipment independently as prescribed by radiation oncologists under the supervision of experienced Radiotherapy Technologists
Prepare acrylic moulds for patient immobilization for the purpose of Radiotherapy. Monitor the patient's physical and psychological well-being during the entire course of treatment. Perform Treatment Planning in Simulator and image acquisition on CT scanner
Train and supervise student radiotherapy technologists.
Promote, support and further advance the character, status and interests of medical Radiotherapy Technology
Promote, advance scientific knowledge by means of lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and debates in all branches of radiotherapy.
Work as a team to provide quality service.

Candidates with Foreign qualifications must submit equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, as per program requirements
