Programme Structure
Content of studies:- The scope of the studies is 60 ECTS, and the planned duration is 1 academic year. The studies consist of profiling studies, optional studies and the Master’s thesis.
- The courses are conducted in English and organised in a blended learning format, which is more flexible to combine with working life, as it includes less contact teaching than daytime studies.
- During the degree, multimodal learning methods are used. The learning process consists of lectures, independent work, distance learning assignments and development projects. In addition, independent distance studies in the student’s own time are required.

You are eligible to apply for the programme if you have
- a higher education degree in computer science or similar subject completed in one of the universities or universities of applied sciences in Finland
- a higher education degree in computer science or similar subject completed in one of the European Union or the European Economic Area countries.
- Applicants are obliged to have at least two years of relevant work experience, gained after obtaining the Bachelor´s degree (applicants can accumulate work experience until the end of July 2025).
