- A Bachelor of Education Honours (BEd Hons) degree or
- An appropriate 480-credit professional degree or
- An appropriate Honours degree or
- An appropriate Postgraduate Diploma that incorporates a research component that carries a minimum of a 30-point credit rating.
- To be considered via RPL, applicants should be above the age of 30 years.
- The Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Management programme is currently offered only to students that are South African residents.
