The MSc Accounting and Finance (Top-Up) course offered through Arden University Online is designed to provide professionals who have already gained qualified accountant status through previous study with the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or an equivalent professional body a convenient route to earn their master’s degree. Students must complete the Financial Management Project, in which they conduct in-depth research into an area of new technology, practice, or accounting convention to earn the full master’s degree.

Assessment methods

Arden’s Accounting and Finance (Top-up) degree requires the completion of the independent study assessment module from our MSc Accounting and Finance course (the Financial Management Project). The project will give you the opportunity to combine the skills, experience, and attributes you’ve acquired in your journey to fully qualified accountant status. Your assessment comprises two parts; a Performance and Development Plan (80%) and a Project Pitch (20%).
