Learning Outcomes

The Forest Park program from Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University (KATRU) will help you:

To be able to systematize current information on topical issues of forest science with its further use in scientific and pedagogical activities, to master the skills of conducting scientific research using measuring equipment and innovative data processing technologies
Own the basic concepts in marketing: demand, supply, market, types of demand; the use of advertising as a means of promoting a product; theoretical and practical aspects of the management of organizations; ways of motivation in increasing labor productivity; to improve the management structure at forestry enterprises
Demonstrate the socio-psychological content and structure of management activities and management functions; psychological characteristics of the leader's personality; psychological patterns of joint activities to achieve the goals. Basic approaches to solving management problems and rules for their solution in the conditions of real forestry production, sustainable management of forest resources, the introduction of an ecosystem approach into forest management processes
To be able to analyze the key problems in modern ecological tourism. To have an idea about modern ecological tourism as a process that includes the formation of an idea, its justification and design in the form of an ecological project, to acquire practical skills in organizing ecological tourism in education and entrepreneurial activity
